Hi, my name is Elizabeth also known as QueenEleem and I'm a Black Hair, Health, and Fashion blogger and YouTuber.

I am African American, plant strong, a runner, and located in Harlem, NYC since 2011. 

​

I’ve been doing my own hair since I was 9 years old and have gone through many trials and tribulations on my hair journey. I decided to stop relaxing my hair January 23, 2013 and went 7 years as a loose natural before I decided to loc my hair. 

​

On January 21, 2023 I completed my own DIY-microlocs install using the interlock method on my 16-20 inch 4c natural hair. And I haven’t looked back since!

 

It was hands down one of the best decisions I have ever made. 

​

I  shared my process in a series of 7 YouTube videos. Due to the quick success of my channel most of my videos focus on demystifying microlocs and increase the accessibility of the hairstyle.

 

This website has grown from a YouTube channel solely devoted to black hair to a place where I discuss all things hair, health, beauty, and fashion. 

​

My ultimate goal is to help my readers feel confident and beautiful in their own skin, starting with their hair.
